SALES GRADS SOAR IN JUNE

In June, ThoroughBid graduates were winning across the UK, with one international success also adding to the list. Seven races, seven different graduates - we take a look back at the month’s winners below.
The first ThoroughBid winner of June came early at Pontefract, where the ever-popular BAY DREAM BELIEVER landed another victory. Since being purchased at the 2022 November Sale, the seven-year-old has now won seven times. Including a brilliant hat-trick last season, she has been a fantastic example of the talent that can be unearthed through ThoroughBid and has been a brilliant servant for the Ursa Major Racing syndicate.
Just a day later, we had our next two winners. WINNING PADDY struck at Newton Abbot after being purchased just two months earlier at the 2026 March Sale. Alexandra Dunn’s horse returned at odds of 28/1, providing a fantastic result for his new connections.
On the same day, PUSH THE BORDERS became another international winner for racing’s online auction house, scoring at Bro Park in Sweden. Purchased at the 2025 April Sale, he added another success to the growing list of ThoroughBid graduates performing overseas.
ThoroughBid graduates were not just making their mark on the Flat either. On the 6th June, SIR CARNEGIE won at Hexham for Mickey Bowen. Purchased at the July 2025 sale, it was his fourth victory for his new connections and his first success since stepping up to three miles.
On the 9th June, ARTISTE D'AINAY won at Southwell for James Bowen and Billy Aprahamian in a handicap hurdle. It was only his second start since being purchased, and after jumping well and making all, he looks like one to keep a close eye on.
On the 15th June, BOBBY DASSLER bounced back to form at Chepstow, dropping back to a mile to record another win. He was purchased at the July 2025 sale.
The final winner of the month came on the 22nd of June, when KING OF WAR won at Brighton. Purchased at the February 2025 sale, he stormed home under David Egan to record his fourth success at the track.
