4YO GELDING BY THE ANVIL

An impressive WINNER on his only start of a Maiden Point-to-Point at Maisemore in March.

He won from the front, unchallenged, and looks a really exciting prospect for future connections. With many of the top yards being represented, it looked a good race. The form has since been boosted by the 3rd horse coming out and WINNING by 9 lengths last weekend.

A tall scopey individual who has shown plenty on debut and should been seen to good effect under rules in the future. He should give his new connections ever chance of claiming some, if not all, of the £20,000 in bonuses he qualifies for.

Trainer, Tom George says, “Midem De Berce has been in the UK for 12 months and he's been a joy to train. He's been very straightforward in everything he's done. He'd be an ideal horse to run in a bumper, followed by novice hurdles and he’s definitely a future chaser.

He's growing all the time. He's now standing at 17hh and he's filling out with it, plus he'll do really well for another summer’s grass. And he's eligible for all the GB Point-to-Point series bonus, as well as ThoroughBid’s £5,000 Point2Rules bonus. There's lots for him to go for in this country and he'll give somebody a lot of fun for the future.”
