The daughter of Kapgarde comes from a Flat pedigree, and that explains where her turn of pace after two out came from. She got first run on the rest of her rivals under Matt Gahan, and considering the mistake at the last, she did well to keep on to the line. This early move by the novice rider could have left the mare vulnerable to a closer, given how the earlier races played out, but it was well judged, and she can continue to improve through the grades, whether that be between the flags or under rules."
